Self to Self
The self said to myself,
“What am I to you? Do you know I exist? If you know, why resist?”
I responded,
“I know you are there. Yet, I am like a dog on a leash,
beside my master, I havn’t a care! With your presence, I feel like I can conquer the world. With your guidance, I’ll stand up… full of beauty, full of strength—
Testing chance, full of ignorance”
The self then replied,
“Of what you say, to this attachment—I have died.
You must learn for yourself, to come back to me. You must lose this foolish pride!”
