Meditate
A question was once proposed of, “why the caged bird sings?”
All I have to say is, “Don’t you ever dream?”
Don’t you desire to fulfill some fantasy?
Don’t you feel like crying it out?
Don’t you ever tell it to anyone?
Share it? Think it? Spell it?
Write it? Wish it? Hope? Pray?
Even meditate? Or just say it?
Well, the bird sings it!
Dreams of free air. Spreading it’s wings and fleeing the cage.
Dreams of freedom, and wind in it’s face. Feathers ruffled.
Dream must be chased! A bird is most majestic flying through the air.
Our humanly desires—we must fulfill them, to be there.
Once was a boy—who was much ado about nothing.
All he could contemplate was love,
beauty,
freedom,
and truth.
This is what he admired, tied to his wanton desires.
This boy once wrote about his greatest fear.
This was the secret he shared with the world.
A sacred gift—this is his quote.
A golden rift—this is what he wrote.
“The only thing that truly scares me, is all the beauty contained in the world.”
A frightened perspective, with fear comes denial.
A fearful objective, with true love comes a trial.
No judge, no jury, no law to impart.
Judged only by the truth inside your heart.
