Beyond!
Karmic confusion?
Or our cosmic illusion?
One eye for another?
One tooth for the other?
Of even your sister or brother?
Or even your mother?
Wishing and hoping to be all knowing.
Knowing it all doesn’t help.
Is it really eye for an eye?
Don’t let this illusion get to your head,
and be careful who you let into your bed.
Cause and effect works for the best.
Consequence is no coincidence,
is there a difference?
From this life to the next,
moment to moment, and all the rest.
A Macrocosm to a Microcosm,
our thoughts and actions alone is what has caused’m
Live life & love.
Die to yourself & love.
If you live for love, you might find some bliss.
If you die for love, you will become timeless.
All that is unseen has form,
all that is seen, has not.
Close your eyes to see what is right in front of you.
Be blind to your senses to see what’s true.
Open your mind, clear this fog,
see what is happening, underlying it all.
Accept what comes! Hold it inside!
Don’t put it down or the lesson will die!
Are the trials of life a lesson for the next?
Can we accrue interest—like gained respect?
Or is this life only a dream while we rest—
Beyond!
